The KNUST School of Business (KSB) has paid a courtesy visit to Deloitte Ghana to explore strategic collaboration to position the school as professional-oriented.
The visit which took place at the Deloitte Ghana office in Accra, served as an opportunity to discuss potential areas of collaboration, with a focus on career development opportunities for students, strategic partnerships, and corporate sponsorship.
As part of the engagement, the KNUST School of Business shared plans for its upcoming anniversary celebration, scheduled for June 2, 2025, and expressed interest in Deloitte’s support in various forms, including participation in key events and initiatives that align with student growth and industry readiness.
Audit Partner Charlotte Forson-Abbey said Deloitte views the engagement with KSB as a significant step towards strengthening its relationship with one of Ghana’s leading business schools.
She added that the firm remains open to exploring initiatives that provide value to students, enhance employability, and contribute to shaping the future of business in Ghana.
Further discussions are expected to take place to define the scope of the partnership and identify impactful ways in which both institutions can collaborate to achieve shared objectives.
The delegation from KNUST was represented by Professor Charles Marfo, Provost of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences; Professor Ahmed Agyapong, Dean, School of Business; Professor Felicity Asiedu-Appiah, Consultant, KNUST School of Business Career Services Office and Chair KSB @20 Planning Committee and Dr. Samuel Akomea, Head of KNUST Business Incubation Center.
