Sports and Recreation Minister, Kofi Adams, has hailed Kurt Okraku’s efforts in attempts to restore Ghana’s footballing fortunes.
According to Adams, the Ghana Football Association President has worked tirelessly to get the football in the country moving again despite a few setbacks.
Okraku has come under scrutiny from the general public for the way Ghana’s football had declined under his administration including the low patronage of the Ghana Premier League as well as the Black Stars recent underperformances.
However, Adams, shares a different view.
“As challenging as the [Ghana] football system has been, Kurt Okraku has not done badly. In all these circumstances, he has been able to right many wrongs,” he told Asempa FM.
Last weekend, Okraku has named the second Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) by head Dr Patrice Motsepe while the Ghanaian has also led the West African Football Union Zone B over the years.
