Former President John Agyekum Kufour has joined a number of Ghanaians to congratulate President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo on his re-election.
In a tweet on Thursday, the former president congratulated President-elect AKufo-Addo on his win in the 2020 elections.

"Congratulations to the President-Elect @NAkufoAddo you deserve it," his tweet read.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was declared winner of the 2020 general election.
He polled 6,730, 413 which is 51.59% of the total valid cast nationwide on December 7.
His closest contender, John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) polled 6, 214, 889 which gave him 47.36% of the total votes cast.
The Electoral Commissioner, Jean Mensa on Wednesday evening announced the results.
She added that the results for Techiman South is outstanding as it is being contested.
However, the opposition NDC say the result is flawed and will therefore not accept the results.
