The announcement, communicated in an official statement signed by Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, follows consultations with the Council of State and signals the administration’s intent to refresh Ghana’s foreign policy outlook in the wake of a new political era.
Among the prominent figures nominated are former Minister and respected economist Mona Helen Kabuki Quartey, who has been tapped to head Ghana’s mission in the Italian Republic, and seasoned energy expert Dr. Kwame Ampofo, designated for Hungary.
