The 2020 Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama begins a 'Thank You Tour' of the 16 regions on Tuesday.
This is the first time after the 2020 general elections that the former President is touring the Country to express gratitude to Ghanaians. Information on his website indicates that his tour is to "thank Ghanaians for their support and votes in the December, 2020 elections."
Mr. John Mahama will start the tour from the Upper East Regional capital, Bolgatanga, continue to Walewale in the North East Region before moving to Tamale in the Northern Region.
He will later tour the Savanna and Upper West Regions where he will interact with Chiefs and Queen mothers, hold meetings with religious and opinion leaders, address regional and constituency executives and supporters of the NDC and also interact with the media.

Mr Mahama tours the North East Region on August 18, Northern and Savanna Region on August 19 and 20, respectively.
The first phase of the tour is expected to end on Monday, August 23 in the Upper West Region.
The former President will be accompanied by some national executives of the opposition party as he tours the country.
