President John Mahama has called for increased representation and opportunities for women in the fields of science and technology.
He emphasised the need to create more opportunities for women to excel in these areas, where they are often underrepresented.
"It is imperative that academic institutions promote gender-inclusive policies and expand opportunities for women to strive in these disciplines," he said at the tenth anniversary of the African Centres for Higher Education at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra, on Monday, April 7.
