The head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Martin Koopman says he wants his side to “play like Holland” after they recorded their first win of the season.
The Phobians secured the victory against newly promoted side Nsoatreman on Sunday after they lost the opening game by a goal to nil against Real Tamale United.
Koopman said he will introduce the Dutch system of play to Hearts for an improved performance in the ongoing season.
Speaking to StarTimes, Koopman said: “We want to play like Holland, attacking football and that must be possible and if you have to see the whole team this week, they are a little bit down.
“Because if you play your pre-season like that we did and you expect the next three points, it’s not going to happen.
"So I must put them on their legs again and give them the good feeling and I see that they stand up and they gave the first three points.” He added.
Hearts of Oak travel to the Sunyani Coronation Park to play Premier League returnees Bofoakwa Tano this weekend.
