The President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, promised to appoint 60 ministers to oversee the affairs of the country before his election to power.
So far, he has appointed 42 ministers, with 18 remaining, all things being equal—26 ministers of state and 16 regional ministers. No deputy ministers have been appointed yet. Below is a breakdown of the appointment dynamics so far.
