Christmas comes in a couple of weeks yet loyal customers of MoneyGram like Mr. Benjamin Ashitey, who received a call bearing surprise gifts.
A team from Zeepay, a financial technology firm, surprised Mr. Benjamin Ashitey at his home in Teshie to celebrate him for receiving his remittances from abroad, via MoneyGram, directly into his mobile money wallet.
The direct to mobile money service powered by Zeepay which was launched in October 2018, allows customers to receive their MoneyGram remittances from abroad directly into their mobile money wallet. This presents a convenient and comforting way for customers to receive remittances from the 200 countries MoneyGram operates.
Mr. Benjamin Ashitey was contacted by Zeepay on his recent remittance of GHS 500 which had been doubled by the MD, now leaves him presently with GHS 1000 in his mobile money wallet.
He also explained receiving MoneyGram directly into the wallet has helped in paying his siblings fees on time and made life easy for him.
Others – Madam Mary Adjokeh from Pokuase and Madam Ayesha Bortier from Nungua and 10 others- are the lucky winners so far.
