The Regional Chairmen of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the GoldBod, Sammy Gyamfi, to commend him for what they described as his dedication and effective leadership since assuming office.
The visit, according to the party officials, was to encourage the GoldBod CEO to remain focused on his mandate of strengthening Ghana’s gold sector and ensuring that the country derives maximum benefit from its mineral resources.
They praised his commitment to accountability, value addition, and reforms aimed at improving transparency in the gold industry.

Speaking during the engagement, the Regional Chairmen noted that the work being done at the GoldBod aligns with the broader national objective of safeguarding Ghana’s natural resources and positioning the gold sector as a key driver of economic growth.
They assured Mr Gyamfi of the party’s continued support as he carries out his responsibilities.

In his response, Sammy Gyamfi expressed appreciation for the visit and the words of encouragement.
He reaffirmed his commitment to serving the national interest and working collaboratively with all stakeholders to promote responsible gold trading and ensure that Ghana’s gold resources are managed for the benefit of present and future generations.
