NPP Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo says his main opponent, John Mahama, has resorted to lies and deceit to revive what he calls the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) sagging campaign.
He said this while wrapping up his three-day tour of the Ashanti Region with a final rally at Ashanti New Town in the Manhyia South constituency, where he admonished residents to reject the former President.
“When anyone mentions government under the NPP, the first thing they talk about is Ghana’s free Senior High School system. If there’s anyone to bear witness to its beginnings, it is Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
"Mahama’s campaign has collapsed and has no content. So he’s resorted to lies, outright fabrications, misrepresentation, and confusion of thoughts. The NDC Presidential candidature has collapsed, and the campaign is no longer viable for the Ghanaian people,” he said.
In accordance, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer promised the people of Ashanti that his government will work to make the free SHS policy even better to guarantee sound education for citizens.
The Ashanti Regional campaign tour also recorded him commission the Bodukwan Multifruit processing Factory, a project operating under Government’s 1-District-1-Factory initiative.
Together with his team, President Akufo-Addo is currently headed to the Eastern Region, where he is expected to spend a day interacting with residents, as part of his campaign tour of the region.
