Parliamentary aspirant for the NPP in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency, Eric Kobina Nyanteh, is promising to champion human capital development of the people in the area if given the nod in the upcoming parliamentary primaries.
Mr. Kobina Nyanteh is among the aspirants in the Central Region who were cleared to contest in the primaries after the vetting process.
This being his second attempt at vying for the candidature of the party in the AAK constituency, the aspirant believes he is the best bet to represent the party in the 2020 polls. According to him, ‘the grounds are fertile’ for him to unseat the incumbent MP and beat NDC’s Felix Kwakye Ofosu to bring the needed economic relief to the people in the constituency.
“There are many economic challenges that continue to cripple the constituency and that is what is motivating me to run for the parliamentary seat,” he averred.
The parliamentary aspirant believes President Akufo-Addo’s initiatives are broad enough to help bring development into the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency.
He further explains there are opportunities for bringing in programs like Planting for Food and Jobs, Planting for Food and Export, One District One Factory, and expand on MASLOC as well.
“I have a dream to empower the people in this constituency. That dream caused me to contest in the 2015 primaries. I am back today to pursue that dream to bring economic transformation to our people.”
Mr. Etudur Kobina Nyanteh would compete with the incumbent Member of Parliament, Elvis Morris Donkor for the party’s seat come April this year during the constituency’s primaries.
Mr. Nyanteh says he is a leader with first-class communication skills and has a long track record of successful management. Not only that, he believes his vast knowledge in current economic, social and regulatory issues in relation to renewable energy, could help him make a huge impact in the constituency.
