Keta SHTS has knocked out its contending schools; Pope John Seminary and Navrongo SHS from the race to becoming winners of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2020 in the one-fourth stage on Saturday.
Emmanuella and James have secured a second-time opportunity in the semi-final stage for Keta SHTS.
Keta SHTS outmatched the Koforidua-based school and Navrongo SHS in all five rounds of the contest.

Taking a lead in round1, Keta SHTS secured 22 points to outrun the competition.
Navrongo SHS and Pope John Seminary followed with 16 points and 11 points respectively.

Unperturbed by the intensity of the speed race, Keta SHTS held their fort with 26 points in round 2.
Navrongo SHS earned no point to their tally.
However, Pope John Seminary fell by 5 points as they could not find a way in this round.

The problem of the day in round 3 proved to be a difficult hurdle to jump.
All three schools; Keta SHTS, Navrongo SHS and Pope John Seminary failed to earn a point at the end of the round.

Giving Keta SHTS a run for their money in round 4, Navrongo SHS came close to taking the lead position with 29 points.
Keta SHTS scored 33 points to maintain the lead. Though not out of mind, Pope John Seminary was out of sight with 13 points.

Answering the third riddle at the end of the contest, Keta SHTS scored 36 points to eliminate Navrongo SHS and Pope John Seminary with 29 points and 13 points respectively.
