Broadcaster and motivational speaker, Kwame OB Nartey, ahead of Homowo, made a donation to the chiefs and people of Ashaley Botwe in Adenta.
The aspiring Member of Parliament for Adenta on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), paid a courtesy call on Nii Afutu Kotey Gbomosane II who was represented by the Council of Elders at the Adentan Constituency (Nii Ashalley Electoral Area) on August 23, 2022.
OB Nartey donated some foodstuff, beverages and an undisclosed amount of money to support their Homowo celebrations and appreciate their contribution to ensuring peaceful co-existence within the area.


His visit was mainly to extend warm regards as well as seek the blessings of the traditional rulers of the land while officially informing them of his intentions to contest the Adentan MP seat.
During the visit, OB Nartey further revealed his plans ahead of the climax of the Homowo festival, including a health screening, dancing and cooking contests. He mentioned that the activities would take place on September 17, at Ashaley Botswe New Town Part from 6:00 am till sunset.Â
The Council of Elders received him wholeheartedly and blessed him as he gears up for the upcoming elections. He also pledged his willingness to attend to their call at any time. Additionally, elders disclosed to him some developmental challenges bedeviling the area, adding that he helps resolve the challenges if voted into office.

The broadcaster has been noted for his involvement in developmental and social activities in the Adenta Constituency since announcing of his intention to contest the Parliamentary primaries in the next elections.
OB Nartey says he is poised to bring his expertise to bear in the constituency to help the area get its share of the national cake in the area of development.
