Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has praised Kwame Opoku for making a strong comeback to the team.
He applauded the striker for quickly adapting and contributing to their success.
Opoku made a big impact on his return, scoring in his first game back at the club, in Kotoko’s 2-0 win against Bibiani Gold Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Ogum highlighted that Opoku’s performance is a result of his natural talent and smooth adjustment to the team.
“I’m not surprised because his talent is clear, and he’s used it well to fit back into the team,” Ogum told Kotoko media in the post-match interview.
“He’s built good teamwork with his teammates, which is great for us.”
The goal marked a successful return for Kwame Opoku, who came back to Kotoko after two years abroad.
In his first time with the team during the 2020-21 season, he scored seven goals in 16 Ghana Premier League matches.
