The leadership of the Perez Chapel International has given permit for 'small-sized' congregational branches to reopen in accordance with the easing of restrictions by President Akufo-Addo.
“All our branches in Ghana with relatively smaller congregational sizes will remain open and will comply with all the protocols mentioned by the president of the republic,” a statement issued and signed by the Presiding Bishop, Charles Agyinasare, on Tuesday said.
This directive follows an announcement by President Akufo-Addo that Churches and Mosques have the permission to reopen to their congregants for a maximum of one hour per service with a congregation of not more than 100 people.

In addition to this, the president in his 10th address to the nation on Sunday indicated that these services must adhere to a mandatory one-metre rule of social distancing between congregants, among other guidelines and protocols.
Reiterating these directives in the statement, the Presiding Bishop said, while “the Perez Dome, Dzorwulu will remain closed for church service until further notice’, international branches are to meet within the confines of the laws and protocols of their various countries.
The statement further urged congregants who do not wish with the branches allowed to operate to continue with the virtual service and programs organised by the church.
“Members and the general public are encouraged to continue worshipping with us virtually on Precious TV, Facebook, youtube and twitter on Bishop Charles Agyinasare’s social media handles and Perez Dome’s handles."
