Pictured here is a busy make-shift station at Lapaz, Accra on the dreaded N1 Highway. Efforts to warn drivers not to park close to an intersection used by motorists heading towards the Kwashieman- Mallam road, have fallen on deaf ears.
That spot is a fierce nominee for the most lawless spot on a road. A police post is a coin toss away from the station.
The idea that people need to be sensitised about doing the right thing is a tacit admission that conscience and culture are alien to the Ghanaian.
So the jury is out there; is Ghanaian lawlessness genetic or acquired?
