The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Ghana, over a year ago, has had devastating effect on the economy as well as businesses in the country.
The shock caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has had considerable impact on Ghanaian businesses, forcing many firms to cut costs by reducing staff hours, cutting wages, and in some cases laying off workers leaving a number of the Ghanaian population jobless.
Although the country seems to be on the verge of recovery, businesses are yet to fully recover from the cold hands of the virus.
In that regard, Joy News’ George Wiafe tonight hosted the Chief Executive of Ghana Enterprises Agency, Kosi Yankey-Ayeh to discuss the topic, “Supporting SMEs hit by Covid-19” at 9.00 pm on the Business edition of PM Express.
