Following the decision by the Apex Court that a Deputy Speaker can be counted during the formation of a quorum for Parliamentary decision-making there has been an enormous uproar.
While the Majority Caucus described it as a ‘refreshing’ outcome.
Many, particularly the Minority in Parliament, says the ruling is absurd and could destroy the processes in the House.
In view of this, JoyNews' Samson Lardy Anyenini hosted CDD-fellow, Prof Kwaku Asare and Executive Director of CDD-Ghana, Prof Kwasi Prempeh to discuss the topic.
