The Management of A&C Mall has assured customers whose vehicles were affected by the recent structural damage at its carport that all necessary repairs will be fully covered by its insurers.
This comes after a heavy rainstorm accompanied by strong, gusty winds and lightning late Tuesday afternoon caused destruction across Accra.
At the A&C Mall at East Legon, it caused the collapse of a solar panel structure in its parking area and damaged several vehicles.
In a public statement, the management of A&C Development confirmed that the incident occurred on Tuesday, March 25, adding that, fortunately, no injuries were reported.
"We acknowledge that some clients' vehicles were affected by the incident. We want to assure all affected vehicle owners that the necessary repairs will be fully covered by our insurers, who are already working to assess and address the damages promptly," the statement read.

The management reiterated its commitment to safety, stating that measures are being taken to reinforce structures and prevent such occurrences in the future.
They also expressed appreciation to the Ghana Police Service, NADMO, and the Ghana National Fire Service for their swift response and support.
Customers seeking further assistance can contact the mall’s customer service team at 0504736514 or 0500094454, it added.
A&C Mall management has assured the public that efforts are underway to restore normalcy and ensure a safe shopping environment for all visitors.
