The Director of Sports at the University of Ghana, Dr. Austin Wontepaga Luguterah, believes Right to Dream is filling "the big gap" in the nation’s sports sector on the back of its 25-year anniversary.
The academy, founded in 1999 by Tom Vernon, marked its silver jubilee at a grand durbar held on Monday, November 25, at Old Akrade in the Eastern Region, which brought together alumni, dignitaries, and community leaders.
From football fields to classrooms, Right to Dream has touched countless lives, helping individuals excel in sports, academics, and personal development.
Among its notable graduates are Ivorian Simon Adingra, Ghana’s Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Burkina Faso’s Ousseni Bouda.

"They [Right to Dream] have shown in the past 25 years that they have produced so many great talents and I can imagine how the next 25 years is going to look now,” Luguterah said.
“The people we see now as kids, just add another 25 years to their lives, they are going to be the leaders.
“They [Right to Dream] are filling the big gap that is created within our system in Ghana. They are hidden in their own corner but producing huge people and impacting lives to people who will fit not only in Ghana but the world.
At the durbar, Right to Dream also unveiled a monument that serves as a reminder of the academy’s enduring legacy and its ongoing vision to transform lives for generations to come.
Over 90 students currently enrolled at the academy are determined to achieve the pinnacle of football and professional success in the years ahead.
