The second edition of the Flag All-Star Game took place on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the Adringanor Astro Turf in Accra, to celebrate flag football.
Following the success of the inaugural event in October, the family-friendly spectacle lived up to expectations, offering exciting games.
The event which was organized by the Philadelphia Eagles Ghana Chapter and supported by NFL Africa started with a match between St. Kizito Basic School and Al Waleed Comprehensive. St. Kizito won 12-6. In the women’s category, Diamond Divas A beat Diamond Divas B with a strong 8-0 performance.
The semifinal one game Cape Coast Predators defeat Flag Fury 14-0 to secure their place in the final. While Elite United narrowly beat Koftown Bisons 7-0 in the semifinal two.

Flag Fury bounced back in the third-place match, defeating Koftown Bisons 6-0 to win the bronze medal.
The final match was the highlight of the day. Elite United showed excellent teamwork to defend their title by beating Cape Coast Predators 13-0. This marked their second championship win and cemented their place in history.
Speaking to JoySports, American Comedian, Michael Blackson who the special guest of the event express his excitement for the growth of NFL in Ghana.

"Not only am I a huge NFL fan, but I'm also a Philadelphia Eagles fan" he said.
" I was raised in Philadelphia and started watching American football at a very young age. To see the NFL and the Ghana American Football Federation bring this to Ghana is a dream come true for me. Thank you for making this happen," he concluded.
The event ended with a watch party as the Eagles took on the Commanders.
