The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II celebrated 25 years of reign in Asanteman and marked his silver jubilee as the 16th occupant of the Golden Stool.
The event which took place at the Manhyia Palace on Sunday, May 12, 2024, attracted dignitaries across the country including President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Alan Kyeremanten, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, John Asiedu Nketia among other celebrities graced the occasion.
Also gracing the special festival were royal officials and representatives from various ethnic groups residing in Asanteman.
The event saw a display of tradition and culture as attendants were clad in beautifully woven kente to compliment the occasion.
