Pearl Andrews of Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans has added another accolade to her growing list of achievements after emerging winner of the Ladies Division B at the Tafo Open Golf Tournament.
Andrews delivered an impressive performance over the two-day competition, posting a winning score of 138 to clinch the title and further cement her reputation in Ghana’s corporate golfing circuit.
The Tafo Open is the flagship tournament of the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana Golf Club (CRIG), held annually at New Tafo-Akyem in the Eastern Region. The event continues to grow in stature, attracting golfers from across the country and beyond, including participants from France and Canada.
This year’s edition featured 54 golfers competing across various divisions, underscoring the tournament’s rising profile within Ghana’s golfing community.
Organisers say the Tafo Open is not only about competition but also about fostering business and social networking, while offering companies an opportunity to showcase their products and services.
The tournament forms part of CRIG Golf Club’s wider calendar of activities, which includes club championships, monthly medal events and other competitive fixtures aimed at promoting the sport and strengthening camaraderie among members.
Pearl Andrews’ latest victory highlights the increasing presence and success of corporate golfers in Ghana’s competitive golfing landscape.
