Emerging rapper Jay Zion has counted his ability to rap and sound like multiple award-winning rapper Sarkodie as a blessing.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s morning show Daybreak Hitz, Jay Zion mentioned that he has had a lot of people criticize him as well as praise him for him rap prowess.
“Big ups to Sarkodie. He is a great brand and to be able to rap like him is a great feeling and a blessing.”
Jay Zion revealed that he got his style of rap from listening to the ‘Borga Borga’ hit maker.
“I think because I listened to him from way back, I got impacted by his style. For me I’m glad people talk about it.”
However, a section of the public believes the young emerging musician should focus on creating a path for himself rather than imitating the BET award winner.
Jay Zion is currently promoting his latest tune titled ‘Gbelemo’ which features Article Wan. The song is currently making waves both on radio and on online platforms.
