Ex Ghana Captain Stephen Appiah has ruled out an imminent return to former local club Accra Hearts of Oak.
The former Juventus and Fernarbache midfielder was reported to have joined Hearts as part of his plans to draw the curtains on his career.
The 30-year-old has been clubless after a four-month stint with Serbian side Vojvodina in 2012 and is currently in Ghana training with his personal trainer.
Appiah in an exclusive interview with Joy sports stated that he is not considering playing for Hearts now.
"We all know that from colts I moved to Hearts of Oak, so I will call the team my darling club and I think it will not bad to play for Hearts but this is not the time," said Appiah.
"I have to give something back to the club and I can only produce good players to Hearts but me going there to play is not true.
"I have reached a level in my career that as always you have to give others the chance, I mean the young ones to prove their talents so I laughed when I heard the story about me going back to play for Hearts."
Appiah's biggest credential in his international career was when he captained Ghana to her first FIFA world Cup appearance in Germany 2006.
