Ahead of her AkwantuPa Experience concert, Diana Hamilton will be releasing the live rendition of her song that features Nigerian singer, Mercy Chinwo, on September 20, 2024.
The new versions recorded live during Diana's annual 2024 Awake Experience comes with both the video and audition versions.
Announcing the release on her Facebook page, she wrote: As we prepare for @akwantupaexperiencewithdh in London we just thought we'd share the exclusive live visuals of #thedoingoftheLord with you. Come this Friday the 20th September, the video will be available on YouTube and the soundtrack available to stream and download from your usual legitimate platforms. In the meantime, you can get your tickets for the London edition from Eventbrite and www.dianahamilton.com."
The original song which was released on January 15, 2023, had rave reviews for music lovers.
Despite having distinctive styles, Diana Hamilton and Mercy Chinwo performed seamlessly on the song during the 2024 Awake Experience. Mercy's Twi verses won the admiration of most music lovers.
In the meantime, two years after the maiden edition was held, the AkwantuPa Experience concert, Diana Hamilton makes a comeback on October 5, 2024.
The event organised in partnership with Enterprise Life Insurance, will be held at the Dominion Centre in London.
The initiative is a partnership between Diana's management and Enterprise Life Insurance, as part of promoting the insurance company's AkwantuPa policy, which was introduced in 2017 and targets Ghanaians living abroad.
