Former Hitz FM presenter Blakk Rasta has appeared before the Bar of the House for his wee smoking comment against Members of Parliament.
In a subtle attempt to make a scapegoat of the presenter he has been made to stand in the Chamber of the House throughout the proceedings and made to apologise for the comment.
This was the recommendation made by the Privileges Committee of Parliament.
The Committee in arriving at its conclusion said that the controversial presenter did not show any remorse when the story broke and only decided to apologise after his tape was replayed for him when he was brought before the Privileges Committee.
Chairman of the Committee Ebo Barton Odro also berated Multimedia for not being proactive enough in dealing with the issue.
Blakk Rasta in an interview on Hitz FM accused members of Parliament of smoking marijuana.
According to him, about 80 per cent of MPs smoke the illegal substance and wanted the law makers to legalise the use of marijuana.
When he was invited to appear before the Privileges Committee to substantiate the comment he made, he denied ever saying that the MPs smoked the substance. He explained that the MPs used marijuana and not necessarily smoked it.
But when the tape was played during the hearing at the Privileges Committee it was evident that Rasta had made the comment for which he was hauled before the Committee.

Together with his lawyer they apologised for the comment. Rasta said he was on "heat" at the time of the comment and did not intend to impugn the integrity of Parliament.
The Committee after assessing the conduct and the behaviour of presenter before, during and after hearing has recommended that he be brought before the Bar of Parliament.
