In the early hours of New Year, a communal clash unfolded in Atwima Agogo and Atwima Twedie.
This unfortunate event resulted in the vandalism of several vehicles, houses, and school properties.
The conflict originated from a misunderstanding between the two communities on Christmas Eve, with residents of Atwima Agogo reportedly attacking those from Atwima Twedie.

This led to the destruction of vehicles, houses, and belongings in Twedie.
In retaliation, Twedie residents stormed Atwima Agogo, vandalising properties in Agogo and Boaso.
The police intervened promptly to control the situation, but the clash has left residents in fear and disrupted transport services in the area.
