The creator of the famous “kupe” and “pilolo” dances, Incredible Zigi, says Ghanaian musicians do not want to invest in dancing and dancers.
In a yet to be aired interview on EWITHBECKS show on Joy Prime, the young Ghanaian dancer said sometimes artistes travel outside Ghana and employ services of dancers there.
Incredible Zigi sated that the neglect and less appreciation for dancers must be corrected.
He told Joy News’ Becky that “Jenifer Lopez, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Usher and others, are using the dancers because they know it plays a major role.”
He added that when musicians open up to see the importance and value of dancers, they will appreciate and respect dancers more.
Incredible Zigi explained that dancers play a major role in the music industry and need to be recognised.
Incredible Zigi is one of the well-known professional dancers in Ghana. He has performed in countries like Russia, Nigeria, UK, Jamaica and has featured in Patoranking’s Available video, to mention a few.
