Vivo Energy Ghana, the distributor of Shell-branded products and services, held its annual Retail Conference and Awards to review its 2024 performance and recognise individuals and teams within its retail network.
The event brought together Shell retailers, business partners, employees, and other stakeholders to reflect on challenges and achievements over the past year.
Speaking at the conference, Managing Director Christian Li acknowledged the economic difficulties facing the business, including inflation, currency instability, and high interest rates. He credited the company's performance to collaboration across its network.

The conference was held under the theme “Bigger, Bolder, Better, Together”, and included discussions on retail expansion and ongoing initiatives such as the ShePower Project, which focuses on supporting women and girls in STEM fields.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony recognising staff and retailers for their performance in 2024. Awardees included Ebenezer Gentle Duedu (Best Quality Hygiene Marshal), Prince Frimpong (Best Territory Manager), George Appiah (Gold Retailer), and H2 Oil Enterprise, which was named Country Retailer of the Year.
Receiving the top award, Etornam Horgli, General Manager of H2 Oil Enterprise, said the recognition reflected a focus on customer service.
Retail Manager Kwame Asante urged all partners to maintain safety standards, operational discipline, and ethical business practices.
Vivo Energy Ghana has indicated plans to continue expanding its retail operations while focusing on customer experience and compliance with company standards.
