Musician KiDi, says he is ready to entertain Ghanaians on Saturday, May 2, at the 2020 virtual 3Music Awards.
According to the 'Enjoyment' hitmaker, organising the awards virtually is a good way to include everyone especially, since there is still a ban on public gatherings.
“For the first time ever, we are having an awards scheme going virtual. To be honest, I don’t think is terrible at all. We don’t get on the red carpet with our suits and gowns and all of that. We get to enjoy it from the comfort of our homes which is very good.”
KiDi added that people will be spared the controversies and brouhaha that come with a red carpet and other issues that could stem from a show with a live audience.
The 2020 3Music Awards was postponed from March 28 to May 2, because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Organisers of the event, 3Music Networks are hoping to successfully entertain people virtually with their artistes line up.
Performing alongside KiDi, is singer and songwriter, Cina Soul, Camidoh, Kweku Smoke, Bosom P-Yung, Daughters of Glorious Jesus and others.
Hosting this virtual edition of the 3Music Awards are Radio and TV show hosts, Jay Foley and Naa Ashorkor with help from comedians OB Amponsah and Clemento Suarez.
