Deputy Minister for Defence Ernest Brogya Genfi has congratulated Kenneth Gilbert Adjei on his appointment as substantive Minister for Defence, expressing confidence in his ability to strengthen Ghana’s defence architecture.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, August 8, Mr Genfi said Mr Adjei’s experience, tactical judgement and leadership would contribute significantly to the advancement of the country’s defence sector.
“Congratulations to Kenneth Gilbert Adjei on your appointment as Minister responsible for Defence at Ministry of Defence Ghana,” he wrote.
Reflecting on their working relationship, the Deputy Defence Minister described the bond between them as one built on trust and brotherhood through public service.
“Our bond of service has been one of trust and brotherhood,” he said.
Mr Genfi expressed confidence that the new Defence Minister would provide the leadership required to further strengthen the country's defence system.
“I have no doubt that your tactical acumen and firm leadership will continue to strengthen our defence architecture,” he stated.
“Congratulations once again, Boss,” Mr Genfi added.
Mr Adjei's appointment places him at the helm of the Ministry of Defence, where he will be responsible for providing political leadership and oversight of Ghana's defence sector.
