The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) says they are confident the youth of the country will vote to maintain the Akufo-Addo government.
Speaking at an event to commemorate the International Youth Day, National Youth Organiser stated that the youth has benefited immensely from all interventions of the NPP especially ones implemented at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Henry Nana Boakye said that over two million youth have benefitted from government provision of Covid-19 relief items including hand sanitizers, face masks and others.
He named interventions like free water and electricity bill, and allowance for health workers as some other interventions that has immensely helped the youth during the Covid-19 crisis.
“These initiatives have and and will significantly cushion the youth and improve upon their lives and I am of the firm belief that they will vote massively for for the NPP,” Nana Boakye added.
He stated that the party is planning and willing to introduce new strategies that can keep President Akufo-Addo and the party in power.
“We are encourage by the support of the party the youth wing and we shall deliver,” he added.
He urged the youth to keep the party in power to create many of these interventions for them in the next four years.
