Former President John Dramani Mahama has eulogized Charles Agyin-Asare of Perez Chapel International for his new position as Archbishop.
In a Facebook post, the former President noted that Archbishop Agyin-Asare's achievement is as a result of his dedication to his pastoral service.
According to Mr John Mahama, the Archbishop has had a positive impact on Ghanaians, making him one of the most inspiring spiritual leaders in the country.
"It is a magnificent double for my friend and brother, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare, as he gets consecrated Archbishop of the Perez Chapel International just days after celebrating his 60th birthday.
"From your very early beginnings in Tamale, through your days of evangelisation across the country and planting the Perez Chapel (formerly (Word Miracle Church), to becoming one of the most inspiring spiritual leaders of our country, God has blessed and used you to bring hope to many homes."
The former President therefore extended his and that of former First Lady, Lordina Mahama's well-wishes to Archbishop Agyin-Asare "on this new journey."
The induction and consecration service to elevate Charles Agyin-Asare to his new position was held on April 2 at Perez Chapel, Dzorwulu branch.

Before his new role, Charles Agyin-Asare served as the Bishop of the church.
Also, Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has congratulated Charles Agyin-Asare on his elevation to the role of Archbishop of the Perez Chapel International.
Archbishop Agyin-Asare handed over the Presiding Bishop position to Rt. Rev Ohene Benjamin Aboagye.
Archbishop Agyin-Asare will, however, preside over the Dome, despite his new rank.
