Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), opened their campaign in a commanding fashion, securing a confident 2-0 victory in the opening games of the 2026 University of Ghana Corporate Football League against Lancaster Accra last Friday 13th February 2026 at University of Ghana Stadium.
From kick off, GCAA played with purpose and intensity, pressing high and launching wave after wave of attacks.
Their early dominance paid off in the first half when Gideon Kamasah broke through Lancaster’s defence to score the opening goal. Shortly after, Kofi Aboagye was awarded a penalty, which he converted, giving GCAA a 2–0 lead at halftime.
The champions showed clinical finishing and strong attacking coordination, leaving their opponents struggling to respond.
In the second half, GCAA shifted tactics, tightening their defensive structure and controlling the pace of the game.
Their disciplined backline ensured Lancaster found no route back, as the defending champions calmly protected their advantage.
At the final whistle, GCAA secured a solid 2:0 victory, the perfect start to their title defence and a strong statement to the rest of the league.
