Litina Travel and Tour, in partnership with Global Volunteers Corps, hosted a Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Ghana’s participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Held at the Alisa Hotel on Thursday, the event provided a platform for stakeholders and fans to discuss safe and informed ways for Ghanaians to engage with the tournament in Mexico, Canada, and the United States.
Representatives from the National Sports Authority, the Tour Operators Union of Ghana, the Ghana Anti-Doping Agency, the Ghana Supporters Union, and Litina Travel and Tour were present.

Participants were guided through the visa process and provided with key points of contact at each stage. A question-and-answer session followed, addressing concerns on critical issues.
Speaking after the event, Stephen Darko, President of Global Volunteers Corps, said the forum provided a valuable opportunity to educate Ghanaians on participating safely in the World Cup.
“All we are saying is that there are processes clearly defined for anyone who is interested in participating in the World Cup. We are all enthused about our qualification. We want to cheer the Black Stars wherever they are playing so that we bring the Cup back to Ghana.
“How can we do this? All of us must get involved, but through the right processes. That is why we have the various institutions. If you need clarification on anything, we have the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.
“We have the Ghana Football Association. We have the National Sports Authority. We have all other agencies that matter in relation to this.”
Meanwhile, Ernestina Abroquah, CEO of Litina Travel and Tour, highlighted why Ghanaians should choose their agency for World Cup travel.
“This time, this is our third World Cup participation, and we have added business to it because, since the World Cup is a bit expensive this time, we want to make sure that the businesspeople would go and also gain some business, get some markets from there.”
Organisers say this is the first of several Multi-Stakeholder Forums planned ahead of Ghana’s 2026 World Cup campaign in June and July.
