The Akosombo district of Assemblies of God Church has begun post trauma counseling for six survivors, families and church members after a marine accident at Senchi. Four out of 10 church members of El Shaddai Temple crossing the Volta lake from Senchi to Old Akrade in the Eastern region for envangelism lost their lives after the canoe their capsized on Sunday.Rescue efforts took over three hours to end due to the murkier nature of the water and lack of in-water rescuing equipment.Following this harrowing experience, survivors are being taken through counselling to deal with the impact of the trauma.Speaking to Joy News, Counsellor of the church, Rev.
