St. Thomas Aquinas SHS has qualified to the preliminary stages of the 2020 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) after a convincing win, Monday.
The one-time champions urged past Accra High School and three others in the first Greater Accra regional qualifiers at Achimota School in Accra.

Presby Osu SHS amassed 19 points to place third while Christian Methodist SHS had 16points with Presby SHS, Tema placing last with 14 points.

This is exactly where the Toms would want to be after they were kicked out at the one-eighth stage of the Primetime program in 2019 by city rivals, Achimota School.
With the Greater Accra regional championship drawing near, the Cantonments-based school would hope to get an act of early revenge on the hosts.
These are all part of the build-up to the national competition, which comes off in May at the University of Ghana campus in Legon.
