A mad rush for hand sanitisers has become the order of the day at the central business district of Accra as confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus increases.
The astronomical increase in demand skyrocketed when two more confirmed cases of coronavirus was reported in the country on Sunday.
Vendors are seizing the opportunity to cash in on the high demand and shortage of the product on the market.
The situation at Makola Tuesday morning was chaotic.
