Waste management company, Zoomlion Ghana, has disinfected two popular institutions in Accra as part of its contribution to the control and prevention of Covid-19 in Ghana.
The waste management giant on Saturday, April 11, 2020, embarked on disinfection of the University of Ghana and the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) as a corporate social responsibility initiative.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts by Zoomlion to disinfect vulnerable institutions, selected public hospitals and schools across Ghana.

Already, Zoomlion has disinfected the offices of the Judicial Service, courtrooms and the Ghana School of Law as part of the initiative.
There are also plans to disinfect the Akuapem Akropong Scool for the Deaf, Dzowulu Special School and Senior Correctional Center in the coming days.

“I am happy to announce also that Vectorpes Ghana Limited a subsidiary of the Jospong Group of Companies with over twelve years of experience has commenced a corporate disinfection project in Accra and across the regions.
“Any corporate institution, home, church, mosques or business center or high rise buildings which requires the disinfection of their spaces against bacteria, viruses and even rodents should contact our offices for immediate inspection and disinfection at a highly subsidized price,” said Lola Asiseh Ashitey, Coordinator for the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Disinfection Exercise at Zoomlion.

The waste management company used motorised spraying machines, Phoenix fogger machines (car-mounted), Napasack spraying machines, hand thermal fogger machines and boom spraying vehicles among others for the disinfection exercises.
