The Ghana Tourism Authority has directed that restaurants can operate dine-in services.

In a press statement sighted by Myjoyonline.com, the Authority said the “appropriate social distancing and hygiene protocols” must, however, be observed.

The restaurants also to ensure "that not more than 25 patrons are admitted to dine at any particular time."

“All hotels can operate as normal and host their guests, subject to the specified elevated hygiene protocols and social distancing,” the Tourism Authority stated.

The management of these facilities are to ensure that their staff carry out these hygiene protocols which are aimed at stopping the spread of the new coronavirus.

All night clubs must, however, remain closed, the Authority further directed.
