Shatta Wale has announced that his anticipated album 'Gift of God' will not be released this year as was previously promised.
The dancehall artiste stated that the decision taken is as a result of the “heavy toll” the coronavirus pandemic has taken on them and the human race in general.
“I will still be with you dropping some singles to keep you waiting and entertained,” Shatta Wale wrote in a post on Facebook.
He added that he and his team will still work on the album to give fans a piece of art that would be appreciated generations after generations.
“Myself and my team are working tirelessly to put together a timeless album that will stand the test of time and to give all my fans and music lovers around the world an unforgettable experience.”
