During a short presentation ceremony, Acting General Manager of the mining company, Andy Amoah said the gift is to show the company’s commitment to support various institutions including the Ghana Police Service.

He indicated that, the patrol cars will now assist police to respond quickly to distress calls from residents.
Stressing that, the security of people within the community in which the company operates is paramount.

Mr Amoah also lauded the police for their “unflinching support in areas such as asset protection, investigation and prosecution of offenders and above all finding common ground between the company and aggrieved parties in the course of its operations.”
Perseus Mining (Ghana) Limited will soon hand over a befitting police barrier at Adwenpaye which includes changing rooms as well as ablution rooms for both male & female police officers.
