The presence of Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, at a registration centre in Korle Gonno drew a huge crowd when he went in for his voters’ ID card.
Fans ignored all Covid-19 safety protocols and gathered around the artist, who had come in with his father to apply for their voter's ID card.
Upon arrival, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. and his father were immediately attended to by the visibly excited polling agents.
His security detail had to form a circuit around the artiste as he went through the registration process.
Before leaving the centre, the 'My Level' hitmaker dropped a wad of cash to the polling agents and made his way to his car.
It took the intervention of his security detail to clear the area of teeming fans so he can get into his car.
Before getting into his car though, the ‘Korle Gonno Ninja’ hitmaker in his neon green-dyed hair took the time to socialise.
He offered warm hugs to some elderly women who were beside themselves with joy in the presence of the celebrity.
