Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has accused the Akufo-Addo administration of being selective in the cocoa roads.
Speaking at a durbar in Berekum during the resumption of his tour in the Bono Region on Monday, the former President said this act has affected the livelihood of the residents in the area.
He alleged that the Kyebi cocoa roads which were started under his government were continued while President Akufo-Addo halted all other cocoa roads including that of Berekum to the detriment of the ordinary people.
“The NDC started the cocoa roads in Kyebi and others place, but when this government came in he asked all contractors to stop, however, they have completed the one at Kyebi and left the ones here at Berekum," he said.
He then added that should he win in the coming elections, he will fix them.
