Member of Parliament for the North Tongu in the Volta region and lead speaker for Professor Naana Jane, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has urged party enthusiasts to make it a point to vote for the NDC in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.
Mr. Ablakwa said this during Professor Naana Jane's two-day campaign tour in the Oti Region.
Mr. Ablakwa called on residents in the region to make history by voting for NDC and help make Prof. Jane the country's first female Vice President since independence.
Adding that a vote for the NDC would enable the party to complete all its projects abandoned by the NPP.
Professor Jane Opoku-Agyeman in addressing the crowd stressed the need for the country to prioritise peace at the December 7 polls.
She advised residents not to allow themselves to be manipulated by any vote-buying schemes of the New Patriotic Party.
Prof. Opoku-Agyeman stated that the NDC's track record in infrastructural development qualifies it to be voted into power come December 7.
The NDC team also met party supporters at Pai-Katanga, and is expected to be at Dambai, Bejamse and Krachi Nchunuru.
