The Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Development Authority (NDA), Dr. Sulemana Anamzoya has denied media reports alleging that his outfit plans to use thousand of cedis for an end-of-year party.
Some youths belonging to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after the December 7 polls besieged the office of the NDA to accuse the authority's board while calling for the removal of the C.E.O.
The Chief Executive Officer however described the allegations as baseless and to be treated with the contempt they deserve.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Anamzoya said the youth were ill-informed and that the Authority never planned to use such an amount for a party.
Dr Anamzoya urged the youth of the party to always verify information sources whenever they are fed with data about individuals and institutions.
According to him, the authority has made huge gains in bringing development to communities in its catchment areas and is committed to increase its developmental agenda this year.
The NDA boss added that more schools, roads, clinic among others would be constructed to improve the lives of the rural folks.
