Ghana defender Joseph Aidoo is confident his team Celta Vigo will qualify to play in the Europa League next season.
Celta previously participated in the Europa League in the 2016/17 season when they reached the semi-final stage.
They were knocked out by Manchester United after losing 2-1 on aggregate.
The Sky Blues have failed to qualify to the Europa League since then and currently sit 11th in La Liga, 11 points behind automatic qualification to Europe.
However, Aidoo still believes his side can still achieve their target of playing in the Europa League next season.
"Currently, we are still striving hard to be up there. Next season we will be playing in the Europa League. That's the target we have set for each other."
Last season Celta found themselves in unfamiliar territory narrowly surviving relegation on the last day of the season.
The 25-year-old says the team were unlucky last season as they have corrected their wrongs this year.
"I think it's one of those things because we played really good but the goals were not coming. This season things have changed because we are still playing good and this time, the goals are coming in."
Celta have 10 more games to play in La Liga as they continue their pursuit for a Europa League spot.
