Lack of water in Walewale has left students of senior high schools in the town desperate and with no time for learning.
The situation has disrupted teaching and learning in the two technical and vocational high schools as students are forced to skip school in search of water.
The schools are also dealing with a lack of adequate toilet facilities, a situation which has created an unfavourable environment particularly for female students who face many hygienic challenges.
The students are therefore pleading with authorities to come to their aid with water and decent toilet facilities.
